About the Employer
My name is Nicole & I'm the proud owner of Carmelle Hair Artistry. I have been a stylist working behind the chair for 9 years. I started as an assistant, worked at a commission salon and then rented a suite for 5 years before opening the doors of Carmelle Hair Artistry. Through my years of experience in the industry I have learned the ins and outs of this wonderful career. I decided to open my salon to become a mentor to stylists who want to make the most of what this industry has to offer. I lead my team with compassion and truly care about their individual growth. I'm committed to providing education, work/life balance, a culture that radiates kindness, a relaxing environment for clients and growing as a leader so I can provide as much as possible to my stylists and their loyal clients. I believe human connection is something we all desire in todays world. I want my stylist to feel free to create their own brand within the brand of our salon. I chose to utilize a commission based structure but provide the flexibility and freedom a booth/chair rental salon would have to offer without the task of managing your business alone.Who fits best in this position
My commitment to running a salon with a lack of micromanagement is suited only for self -motivated individuals. I'm looking for a stylist whose values match the culture of our salon and who shows enthusiasm for their career. They must possess a desire to learn and grow their skills, be good at communication, and be trustworthy and responsible. I am currently looking for someone with experience who has not found their ideal salon home.
