Sunlight Day Spa is looking for a part-time Licensed Massage Therapist to join their team. Sunlight Day Spa is Overland Park's premier wellness spa that focuses on providing services that promote natural healing and has been voted Best Kansas City Day Spa numerous times throughout the years.
In these changing times, Sunlight Day Spa takes the health and well being of clients and employees seriously. In light of COVID-19, precautions have been taken to keep everyone as safe as possible. In order to ensure the safety of our therapists and guests, an extra 30 minutes between clients to sanitize is in place. Protective gear such as masks and face shields are required for the therapist and client to ensure that therapists are comfortable while working, and that the clients are comfortable during treatments. Everyone, including employees and clients, will have their temperature taken upon entering the Spa along with other precautions.

Have a positive attitude and be a team player
Excellent communication skills to effectively work with clients and colleagues
Converse with clients about medical history, symptoms, and their desired results
Evaluate clients to locate painful and/or tense areas of the body
Be reliable and timely for scheduled shifts
Therapists available weekends and evenings is highly preferred
Experience with a client base is preferred but not required. New graduates may apply
Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure the wellbeing of clients and employees
Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body
Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture
Document the client’s condition and progress
Minimum Qualifications
A City of Overland Park license
MBLEX or national certification
CPR and first aid certification
Certified transcript consisting of at least 500 hours
High school or equivalent level of education
