Near as I can tell, doing things the way they’ve always been done appears to produce only ‘as good as’. And becoming ‘as good as’ just didn’t make it to my list of goals. The Truth is, I’m not prone to setting goals. Though many would argue, I think they are a little useless.

Is your life right now reflecting the goals you set 5 years ago? Or even 2 years ago? I do however believe in planning short-term outcomes that will lead you one step further toward your ONE GOAL.
Now I admit I can, at first glance, appear unfocused and recognize that that can make me easy to dismiss. I have heard more, ‘that’s not the right way to do it’, ‘It will never work’, ‘no one does it like that’ , and ‘why are you doing it that way’ than anyone I know. I am always looking for a ‘better mousetrap, a better way. But I’ve never wanted to be you. I’ve never wanted someone else’s success. I wanted MY success. That is the first key.

The end results speak for themselves. Here I am, Livin’ the dream… People say often that they are lifelong learners. No news there. Whether we want to or not, aren’t we all? For me, success has been found by paying attention, listening, and trusting your gut, not your brain. This enables one to be proactive and not reactive. Anticipate rather than respond.
